All-America City Applications Open

The National Civic League has opened its applications for the 2022 All-America City Awards. The award, the nation’s foremost civic engagement honor, has recognized over 500 communities since the program began in 1949, including five from Kentucky - Danville, Hopkinsville, Louisville, Owensboro, and Pikeville.

The 2022 awards will be slightly different as NLC is collaborating with our co-convener, the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading (CGLR). As such, the 2022 All-America City Awards will recognize communities committed to improving prospects for early school success and equitable learning recovery for children whose families are served by the nation’s public housing agencies and affordable housing organizations. The year’s theme is “Housing as a Platform for Early School Success and Equitable Learning Recovery.” Learn more here: The All-America City Award - National Civic League

Cities can submit a letter of intent by January 10 to receive $100 off their application fee. Applications are due March 1. You can apply here.
