KLC, TVPPA Offer Utilities Linemen Training
The Kentucky League of Cities Utilities Partnership has created a new program to fill a training gap for linemen.
The Nicholasville, Kentucky, training location, built by Nicholasville Utilities and the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA), will give utilities in central, eastern, and southern Kentucky a training site closer to home.
The TVPPA Fundamentals Lab 1 will be offered Sept. 28 — Oct. 2, 2026, in Nicholasville. Member registration is $845 per student, a 25% discount. KLC can cover TVPPA affiliate dues for utilities partnership members. Visit the TVPPA website and scroll to the “Become an Affiliate Member” tab. See the complete lab agenda here.
