Nominations Now Open for 2026 KLC Awards

Kentucky’s cities are full of leaders, innovators, and public servants doing incredible work every day. We invite you to help us recognize them!

The Kentucky League of Cities is now accepting nominations for the 2026 KLC Awards, celebrating excellence in city government across the commonwealth.

Each year, these awards highlight the individuals and cities making a lasting impact — whether through visionary leadership, innovative programs, or a deep commitment to serving their communities.

Award Categories Include:
The LEAD (Leadership Enrichment And Development) Award honors former Carrollton Mayor Ann Cline Deatherage and includes registration fees for a KLC conference or event.


All winners are recognized at the 2026 KLC Conference & Expo.

Nominations for the Elected Official of the Year, City Government of the Year, and City Employee of the Year are due by July 10, 2026. LEAD Award entries must be received by July 31, 2026.
