Morgain has more than 20 years of experience in government law and has been with KLC since 2017. KLC Executive Director|CEO James D. Chaney thanked Morgain for her commitment to cities. “Anyone who has worked with Morgain knows she is dedicated to helping municipal governments in whatever way possible,” he said. “She is an asset to the League and our members, and I congratulate her on this award.”

“I am honored that my city attorney colleagues nominated me for this award and that the IMLA awards committee found me deserving,” Morgain responded. “My goal is to exhibit the spirit of the award by providing the highest level of services to our member cities along with all of the municipal law staff.”

IMLA representatives presented Morgain with the award at the association’s annual conference in Portland, Oregon.
