Grants for First Responders’ Expenses – Ongoing

Grants to USA first responders to mitigate expenses. Funding is intended to assist with housing payments, work-related medical or mental health expenses, and child care or eldercare expenses, and to offset financial hardships incurred as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Grants to individuals support children who have endured financial hardship and whose first responder parents have lost their lives or sustained serious injuries in the line of duty.

First responders include Emergency medical technicians (EMTs), Firefighters, Paramedics, Police Officers (including 911 Dispatchers), and Medical Personnel. Medical personnel are defined as those directly treating patients in an emergency setting.

Applicants must reside in the United States.

First Responders Children’s Foundation officers, committee members, employees, and members of their immediate families are not eligible.
