Safety Grant Opportunities
The KLC Safety Grant program was developed as a member benefit to supplement existing safety budgets and is made possible by support of KLC’s enterprise programs such as insurance and employee benefits. Since the safety grant program began in 1999, KLC Insurance Services has awarded in excess of $4.1 million.
KLC Safety and Liability Reviews
Safety and Liability reviews assist insurance members with implementing best practices in their day-to-day operations. These reviews are designed to make cities safer places to live and work. Combined with a site visit, these tools give members, our loss control consultants, and the underwriting department recommendations to improve loss prevention efforts and ultimately reduce losses. Members can work with their KLC loss control consultant one on one, as well as take advantage of other KLC programs and resources.
There are six separate reviews:
A member can save premium dollars each year if their score is between 40% and 100%. KLC insurance members can access their review results anytime by logging in to their klc.org member page.
