Grant Funding Offered to Help Prevent Child Abuse, Neglect

Kentucky cities can apply for a share of $60,000 in funding to help prevent child abuse and neglect.

The Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board is offering grants to fund educational and public information programming that promotes the well-being of children and families by addressing concrete needs, including housing, food assistance, childcare, and transportation, to help reduce family stress and improve outcomes for children.

Applications are open through March 31, 2026. The board will review proposals and vote on awards at its May meeting. Additional information and application materials are available online.
