Registration Open for 2024 Risk & Safety Conference
Registration is now open for the 2024 KLC Insurance Services Risk & Safety Conference. This year’s event occurs on March 13-15 at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green. The 2024 event marks the 25th annual Risk & Safety Conference, and we planned several special events to celebrate our silver anniversary.
The conference will once again provide several training opportunities for city employees and those who work with cities in various key roles. We will discuss ground maintenance, bloodborne pathogens, driving regulations, fall protection, construction standards, worker health programs, work zone safety, pool and playground safety, emergency preparedness, and more. Wednesday’s keynote speaker will share his harrowing tale of surviving a trench collapse that buried him under several feet of soil. You can see the entire agenda here.
This year also includes a networking opportunity on Wednesday night at the National Corvette Museum. It will be a unique experience that allows you to tour the facility at your own pace.
The KLC Insurance Services Risk and Safety Conference is an invaluable way for city officials and those dealing with environmental, safety, and health issues to learn tactics, trends, and regulations that can improve efficiency, potentially save lives, and reduce liability claims.
Registration costs are eligible for reimbursement through the KLC Safety Grant for KLC workers’ compensation insurance members.
