The Plowing for Pizza initiative is a campaign introduced by Domino’s Pizza to provide $500,000 in snow removal grants to communities to improve safety and accessibility during winter conditions. Domino’s will award 20 grants for $25,000 to cities across the nation.
Domino’s will not take back the grant once it has been made regardless of the snowfall. However, only towns that can benefit from the grant will be selected for the Plowing for Pizza program. Additionally, the grant funds are required to be used for snow removal efforts only. As a condition of the partnership agreement between Domino’s and the selected recipient needs to provide Domino’s with a written explanation of how the funds will be used.
Selected towns and cities are also asked to film or photograph the snow removal process and provide that content to Domino’s for use on the campaign landing page, and possibly on social media.
