The Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection will host an in-person workshop to help local governments, community organizations, and nonprofits navigate funding opportunities for environmental projects.
Experts from the Division of Water, the Division of Waste Management, and the Division of Air Quality will be on hand to provide one-on-one coaching. The grants covered during the workshop include recycling and local assistance, the Kentucky Brownfields Program, water quality, and air quality.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet offices, located at 300 Sower Boulevard in Frankfort.
