WEBINAR: American Rescue Plan Act Informational Session

Wednesday, May 12
2:00 - 3:30 p.m. EDT

The U.S. Department of the Treasury must provide guidance and money from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund by May 10. The fund is part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) President Biden signed into law earlier this year. Entitlement cities ‒ Ashland, Bowling Green, Covington, Elizabethtown, Henderson, Hopkinsville, Lexington, Louisville, and Owensboro ‒ will receive money directly from Treasury while others must go through the Kentucky Department for Local Government (DLG).

KLC Executive Director/CEO J.D. Chaney will provide city officials information on city apportionments, Treasury guidance for use of the funds, and certification requirements.
