Let’s face it, looking at a city’s annual audit can be about as much fun as watching paint dry, but with a few tips and tricks you will learn in this session, you will find your city’s audit much more interesting. We will learn about the audit's purpose, cycle, compliance, outcomes, and, last but not least, the role of city officials. Having an annual audit boosts public trust and validates a city’s financial health. It is one of the most important things a city official can learn.
