2021 Legislative Update

Thursday, May 27
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. EDT

Cities had a successful 2021 Regular Session of the General Assembly. Legislators passed 17 KLC initiatives, bills that the KLC Board of Directors identified as priorities. Many additional KLC-supported measures will become law, and legislators did not pass any KLC-opposed bills. In all, the legislature enacted nearly 200 bills.

Join KLC Executive Director/CEO J.D. Chaney and Director of Public Affairs Bryanna L. Carroll for a discussion on legislation that impacts cities. This comprehensive review will include vital information on new laws and effective dates.
