City EDvantage Session: Sidewalk Safety

Well-maintained sidewalks keep your residents safe by reducing costly trips and falls. We will illustrate various sidewalk maintenance programs, show proposals and mapping examples for multi-year maintenance projects for Kentucky cities, and illustrate budget - conscious techniques for sidewalk repair. We’ll talk about the common types of hazards/repairs and maintenance items that affect those with disabilities, as well as the ADA guidelines for maintenance and repair of sidewalk infrastructure.
