Online Discussion: Cities Helping Cities - An opportunity to work through the COVID-19 challenge together

Friday, March 27, 10:30 a.m - 12:00 p.m. EDT

City officials are invited to join Kentucky League of Cities President and Jeffersontown Mayor Bill Dieruf and Executive Director/CEO J.D. Chaney for an interactive online discussion on how cities are working through issues related to the COVID-19, including what’s working well and what is most challenging.

During the online meeting, Mayor Dieruf will facilitate a review of frequently asked questions that KLC is receiving, answer other questions*, discuss resources and collaborations, and exchange ideas. Panelists will also include KLC Director of Municipal Law Morgain Patterson and KLC Personnel Services Manager Andrea Shindlebower Main.

This free online meeting opportunity is open to all city officials. Participants will receive 1.5 hours of City Officials Training Center/House Bill 119 training credit.

*The first 100 participants to join the session on Friday will be able to submit written questions during the meeting. All other participants will be in listener-only mode.

For the latest information, city officials are encouraged to visit KLC’s COVID-19 Resource Page. As we all work through this unprecedented time, KLC is committed be agile in providing services, information and opportunities that our members need.
