This is a free training event and lunch is provided. Registration is encouraged for lunch count and availability.

Part 1 (Morning): A New Perspective – Revenue Streams for Any City 
If your city pays bills (and it does), there are ways to generate revenue in the process. PNC professionals will discuss how cities in Kentucky are generating revenue streams using rebates for payables. This session will also cover cybersecurity issues. 

Part II (Afternoon): Financial Basics and Options for Cities
All cities have different financial needs, goals and timelines. This session is a review of the basics – bonds, stocks, dividends and more. The discussion will also review investments and diversification options as well as how cities are using dividend income to support their budgets.

Who should attend? Mayors, Finance Directors, Treasurers, City Managers, City Administrators, City Clerks, Commission members and Council members

If time permits, please tour the KLC office and meet the staff.

Credit: Up to five hours of City Officials Training Center credit and/or Training Incentive Program (House Bill 119) credit. Attendees who are unable to stay for the entire session will receive training credit for time attended.

FREE Parking available on West High Street – starting at the corner of South Limestone and West High Street. KLC’s parking is in all three lots on West High Street.
