City EDvantage Lunch Session: Capturing the Revenue Your City is Losing Every Day

This event has ended.

“When I was first made aware of this program, it seemed like it was too good to be true. They have been successful in retrieving just under $30,000 for the year in ‘unknown taxes’.” - Mayor Les Stapleton, City of Prestonsburg

Often companies come to your city, conduct business and leave without obtaining a business license, reporting net profits or employee labor inside the city. These revenues are not captured, which means the municipality is losing money every day. The DataMax team of experts can capture those lost revenues.

Our process begins with researching and identifying those businesses who are not currently paying business licenses. DataMax contacts those businesses and works with them to submit an application and pay applicable fees due, including any late penalties. In addition to capturing these revenues, the city now has the businesses in their system, and will be able to collect in subsequent years.

This is a free training event and lunch is provided.

“Data Max is one company I absolutely recommend your city get involved with. As mayors, we know there’s no way we have the capability of watching every business that comes through our cities nor do we have enough staff to do so as well. There are just too many other things going on. Data Max can, and will. They are a great group of people to work with, and it’s so easy to get started. You’ll be surprised to see how much money this could mean for your city.”                                                 - Mayor Roddy Harrison, City of Williamsburg

FREE Parking available on West High Street starting at the corner of South Limestone and West High Street. KLC’s parking is in all three lots on West High Street.
