Every election year, the Kentucky League of Cities travels the state offering City Officials Orientation (COO) sessions for newly elected and re-elected officials. The training is essential for building a strong foundation of knowledge about how cities function.

Attendees will learn about:

• The structure and function of city government.
• Common legal issues cities face.
• Roles and responsibilities of elected officials.
• Resources and services available to KLC members.

These sessions are an invaluable resource for newly elected officials looking to start their term confidently and for experienced officials who want a refresher on the latest city government practices and legal updates.

KLC provides the sessions at no cost, but registration is required.
