Work Zone Safety

Municipal employees must work daily on or near roadways. Work zones are hazardous areas that can pose a variety of risks to workers, motorists, and pedestrians. Training, pre-planning, and work zone management are essential to creating a safe work environment. This training will provide an overview of the proper use of personal protective equipment, flagging procedures, and work zone components.

Credit: 1 hour of Community Safety and Health credit
