This activity will have city officials divided into teams representing cities or companies with mentors from the KY Economic Development Cabinet, Commerce Lexington, BE-NKY, and KAED. Through a series of visits and negotiation rounds created to mimic the economic development process, attendees will learn more about the economic development process, the role of city officials during site visits, and how to navigate such discussions with prospective companies when they express an interest in relocating to your community.
