KLC will conduct a virtual City Officials Orientation session for newly elected and reelected city officials who could not attend an in-person event. This webinar will focus on city government basics, including the structure and function of city government, the most common city legal issues, the roles and responsibilities of elected officials, and the resources and services available to all KLC members.
This training is a must for new officials and is an excellent refresher for seasoned elected and appointed officials.
KLC provides the orientation at no cost, but registration is required.
Three (3) hours of City Officials Training Center credit and/or Training Incentive Program (House Bill 119) credit is provided.
There are no registration fees for this event.
