New Services from KLC Cornerstone Partners

Updated June 26, 2020

As COVID-19 continues to disrupt communities across Kentucky, companies are stepping up to support our cities and provide services and products to those who need them most.

The Kentucky League of Cities partners with a select group of businesses and companies through our KLC Cornerstone Partner Program.  These companies are carefully vetted before they are accepted to join the program.  Some companies are taking special steps to support member cities during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We've established this page to update members on special Cornerstone Partner programs, benefits and information.  It will be continuously updated as we get more information.

Sophicity
In a new era of virtual business, cybersecurity has never been more critical.  Sophicity offers KLC members discounted programs for cybersecurity, data backup, data management, websites and more.  Through Sophicity, KLC’s longtime IT consulting partner, “IT in a Box,” has been providing cities with IT tools since 2012. Unlike other IT providers, Sophicity's specialty is cities... that's what they know and what they do.  Learn about the current discounted programs for Kentucky cities.

GovDeals
GovDeals can provide a virtual alternative to live auctions. The company has best practices regarding touchless transactions and social distancing with asset pickup.  GovDeals is now more flexible with auction assistance and cities can pass the GovDeal charge on to the winning bidder, meaning there would be no cost to sell surplus.
