City leaders can have their voices heard at one of three community input sessions designed to gather information for Kentucky’s new Solid Waste and Sustainable Materials Management Plan. The plan comprises the circular economy strategy and the recycling strategy and includes recommendations for Kentucky’s waste, recycling, and circular economy systems.
The interactive sessions hosted by the Division of Waste Management, UK Recycling, and Blueprint Kentucky are your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. If you have knowledge or experience with these waste systems, the state is asking you to attend and share your feedback to help refine our goals and ensure they address the real strengths, needs, wants, and challenges of your community and region.
