Kentucky Launches Law Enforcement Peer Support Grant Program

Kentucky law enforcement agencies can apply for funding for the commonwealth’s first-ever Law Enforcement Peer Support Grant program.

Attorney General Russell Coleman announced the program offering up to $5,000 to agencies to develop or enhance peer support teams that address chronic stress and promote officer mental health. The grant is made possible through a program from the nonprofit, bipartisan Attorney General Alliance.

Funding can be used for expenses such as overtime for peer support specialists, training and education, and equipment for peer support teams.

Law enforcement leaders can find details in the Notice of Funding Opportunity. Applications close June 15, 2026.
