The Kentucky
Board of Emergency Medical Services offers grants of up to $10,000 to Kentucky-certified ambulance service agencies to purchase a broad range of
equipment.
Eligible ambulance services must coordinate the application process
with their county government.
What does my Agency need to do?
• Ensure that your eligible organization has fully completed and submitted the Ambulance Block Grant Funding FY 2026–2027 application in KEMSIS prior to Jan. 31, 2026.
Ambulance Grant Funding Program Timeline
• Dec. 15: Grant Applications Available in KEMSIS
• Jan. 31: Deadline for Ambulance Block Grant Application Submissions
• May 31: Deadline for Ambulance Grant Substitute Item form application for previous year funds.
• July 1: Notification of award for Ambulance Block Grant
• Aug. 31: Grant Awards Distributed
