Adventure Forever Grants - Due May 7

Cities are eligible for grants of up to $25,000 for land access and stewardship projects. Funding is intended for specific projects in the focus areas of land acquisition, access to public water and land, development of new trails, access to private land, trail restoration, and education.

Project Types:

  • Acquire & Conserve: Land acquisition
  • Protect Access Routes: Right-of-way easements and land acquisitions to secure longterm access to public land or water across private land.
  • Build Trails that Give Back: Well-planned, sustainably built, new trails.
  • Support Voluntary Private Land Access: Programs and agreements that allow the public to access private land in a way that benefits landowners, recreational access, and wildlife habitat.
  • Restore Trails and Riding Areas: Maintenance, restoration, re-routing of trails, or trash clean-up efforts on either public land or publicly accessed private land.
