KOHS Cybersecurity Grant Program Now Open

Kentucky cities can apply for the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security (KOHS) 2023 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program.

Applications are open now through Sept. 15. Grants include reimbursement with a 20% match. The program is available for all local government and locally owned infrastructure to support nearly all cybersecurity projects, including but not limited to equipment, personnel, multi-factor authentication (MFA), backups, transitioning a website to a .gov or URL, training, and exercises. The program is not available to nonprofit organizations or private corporations.

Registration is open for virtual workshops scheduled for Aug. 17 and 18 at 12:30 and 1 p.m. EDT, respectively. Representatives will be able to answer any questions during the workshops.

Applications can be found on the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security website.
