City EDvantage Session: Continuity of Operations – Using Cloud-Based Solutions & Preparing for the Unknown

Tuesday, April 13
10:00 - 11:00 a.m. EDT

This session will focus on the shift from traditional “on premise” software systems to cloud-based systems. We will discuss the advantages enjoyed by moving to cloud-based software platforms. We will also discuss another area that is often overlooked: the risk associated with staff turnover. We will review a case study based on a real-world staffing emergency and offer suggestions to minimize this associated risk.

Who should attend: Organizational leaders who are interested in learning about minimizing the risk of interrupted service to their critical business systems

Presenters: Mike Brenner - Regional Manager, David Griesmeyer - Network Specialist and Diana Steck - Professional Services Specialist

Credit: 1 hour of City Officials Training Center credit and/or Training Incentive Program (House Bill 119) credit
