The Kentucky League of Cities understands that many cities across the Commonwealth have had to significantly cut their training budgets
due to the effects of COVID-19. Therefore, we are providing scholarship opportunities to KLC members who may want to attend the
2021 City Officials Academy, but have a financial hardship preventing attendance at this year’s event.
We will be providing up to five scholarships for both first-time attendees and for returning attendees (a total of 10).
Each scholarship award will cover the full member registration cost.
Applicant must be a member of Kentucky League of Cities.
Applicant must have a financial need.
Applications must be completed by January 13th, 2021.
Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing by the Kentucky League of Cities and
automatically registered for the conference. If the recipient is already registered, a refund will be processed
to the original method of payment.
In the event that an award recipient is not able to attend the City Officials Academy, an alternate will be chosen to receive the scholarship.
The Kentucky League of Cities serves as the united voice of cities by supporting community innovation, effective leadership and quality governance.
