The City of Taylorsville seeks a qualified applicant for the position of public works director to perform the operational duties of the city of Taylorsville water and sewer department.

• The successful applicant must be a graduate of an accredited high school, preferably supplemented by five years of experience in water distribution, wastewater treatment, or collection system operations.
• Experience in street operations, as well as inventory management preferred. 
• The candidate should have the ability to obtain a Grade II Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification, a Grade II Collection System Operator, Grade III Distribution Certification in a period of 24 months of hire date or according to KYDOW rules referring to certification testing.
