Description:

Responds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured. Determines nature and extent of illness or injury and establishes priority for required emergency care. Directs and instructs emergency medical technicians in treatment methods as necessary. Reports verbally an/or in written observations the care given to patient, at the emergency scene and in transit, to the medical facility emergency personnel. Attends training meetings, conferences, and seminars as required. Maintains operating condition of vehicles including gas, tire pressure, and engine fluid levels. Maintains necessary ambulance inventories of equipment and supplies. Performs other duties as required. Must have diploma or equivalent.

Must have valid KY drivers license.

Must have Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic Certification Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification Must have Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification

Salary Information: beginning salary 45,000
