ASSISTANT CORPORATION COUNSEL, General Government / Legal Department Exempt, part-time, position which, under general administrative direction, performs professional legal services for the City of Ashland.

Minimum Requirements: Graduation from an accredited law school. Professional work experience is preferred, but not required. Certification/Licensing Requirements: Must possess and maintain a valid Commonwealth of Kentucky driver’s license; must be admitted to practice before all levels of Kentucky Courts (and a member of the KY and Boyd County Bar Associations) and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Must be able to attend meetings during evenings and weekends.

Salary: $64,822 (Min.) - $106,954 (Max.). Information about the City of Ashland may be found at www.ashlandky.gov.
