This conference is the state’s largest multi-disciplinary child abuse prevention training opportunity and offers great networking time as well.
Two national speakers, and 38 breakout sessions on topics such as human trafficking, online sexual exploitation, current drug and alcohol trends of teens, physical abuse, pediatric abusive head trauma, situational awareness and others will be offered. In-state experts from the law enforcement, medical, legal, mental health and other fields will share their expertise with more than 600 participants.
Thanks to an anonymous donation, there is a limited number of scholarships available only to law enforcement personnel. The scholarships include registration and lodging. Travel and Sunday and Monday night meals are the responsibility of the applicant. Law enforcement scholarships are limited.
