Local Perspective on Infrastructure Funding Webinar

Thursday, December 3
2:00 - 3:30 p.m. EST

Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) board members voted transportation funding and the need for modernization of the state’s road funding formulas as the top legislative priority for the 2021 session. KLC Executive Director/CEO J.D. Chaney, First Vice President and Versailles Mayor Brian Traugott, and other members of Kentuckians for Better Transportation will discuss transportation needs in the state and efforts to secure more revenue for your community. Representatives from the House and Senate will provide an update on proposed legislation. KLC supports increasing the state’s gas tax and modernizing the road funding formulas to ensure a more equal distribution of revenue to local governments.
