THE CITY OF TAYLORSVILLE Open Full Time Position- Police Officer The City of Taylorsville is accepting applications for a full-time certified Police Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing duties required in the enforcement of laws and ordinances, the prevention of crime, and the protection of life and property.

REQUIREMENTS: - Must be a graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent. - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Successful completion of Certified Peace Officer training administered or approved by the Department of Criminal Justice Training or the ability to achieve such certification within one year of employment. - Must pass back ground check and drug screening. Starting Salary based upon qualifications. Full-Time benefits include: Health, Dental, Vision and Life insurance options; Paid Holidays, Sick and Vacation leave; State Funded KLEFPF Incentive; Participant in CERS Hazardous state retirement.
