National League of Cities- NLC's mission is to strengthen and promote cities as centers of opportunity, leadership, and governance.

Commonwealth of Kentucky- this is your resource for Kentucky government. If you're looking for a state representative, county information or a particular state agency, you'll find it here.

Kentucky Association of Counties-  is dedicated to serving all Kentucky counties.

Kentucky Municipal Clerks Association-  a professional organization dedicated to developing trust in municipal government. It provides opportunities for education, professional development, personal growth and leadership. We encourage new and innovative ideas to enable members to fulfill and discharge their official duties for promoting the office of the Kentucky Municipal Clerk.

Roll Call- Kentucky- the newpaper of Capitol Hill since 1955

Department for Local Government- provides financial help in the way of grant and loan assistance, as well as advising local governments in matters of budget, personnel and other issues relevant to those entities.

Kentucky Division of Compliance Assistance- available to assist cities with any questions they have about meeting their environmental obligations. There is no charge for the assistance.

U.S. Conference of Mayors- is the official nonpartisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more.

Legislative Research Commission- established in 1948 as a fact-finding and service body for the Kentucky Legislature

Southern Municipal Conference- provides an opportunity for the officers, directors and staffs of southern municipal leagues to share mutual political and policy concerns with their counterparts throughout the southern region.

International Institite of Municipal Clerks- the leading professional association serving the needs of Municipal Clerks, Secretaries, Treasurers and Recorders and other allied associations from cities and towns worldwide. 

International City/County Management Association- is the premier local government leadership and management organization.

Government Finance Officers Association- The purpose of the GFOA is to enhance and promote the professional management of governments for the public benefit by identifying and developing financial policies and practices and promoting them through education, training and leadership.
