Hiring a new employee is one of the most important and time-consuming tasks that a city can undertake. If you are responsible for hiring you can be under pressure to fill a position quickly. The city will be investing a lot of time and money into the new employee. To make this process as smooth as possible for the city and the new employee it is essential that you comply with all applicable state and federal laws.
