City Government of the Year Award
The Kentucky League of Cities City Government of the Year Award celebrates cities and allows KLC members of all sizes to be inspired by, learn from and replicate successes in other cities. This new award recognizes quality of governance- an initiative, a program, policy or project accomplished in the last year that elevates your city. What sets your city apart and makes you worthy of recognition. Did your government address a specific local challenge, issue or desired goal? Did you think outside the box, take an original approach or adapt something you saw elsewhere? Were there obvious results, cost-effectiveness, and immediate and/or long-term positive impact to the community and/or target groups? The award is open to cities of all sizes. Each entry will be judged on its positive impact.
The award is not categorized. It’s wide open!
