General Government

General government expenditures include all general functions of government, including finance, administration, elected officials, public buildings, general insurance coverage and miscellaneous expenditures.  In FY 2011, general government expenditures made up around 15 percent of city budgets, totaling almost $450 million and ranking third highest of all expenditure categories.
