The City of Augusta has an immediate opening for a CITY MAINTENANCE WORKER. If a High School Graduate or equivalent; no previous work experience is required, however, related work experience may serve as substitute for GED as a minimum qualification. Performs manual skilled and semi-skilled work of a varied nature in the installation, construction, maintenance, operation and/or cleanliness of streets, parks, wastewater collection system, water distribution system, and gas distribution system; performs related work as required. Must be able to work irregular hours and able to respond to calls in emergency situations at all hours. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. All applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Salary Information: Pay will be based upon qualification and or experience.
